If Karim Morientes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 17th minute Karim Morientes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nofre Estany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alianza FC's goalkeeper Nofre Estany, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Valhalla F.C.'s Karim Morientes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nofre Estany narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Alianza FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karim Morientes came free, but Nofre Estany reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karim Morientes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Valhalla F.C.'s Karim Morientes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nofre Estany. That made the score 0-1 after 52 minutes of play. In the 55th minute, Sorin Hreapcă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karim Morientes might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nofre Estany. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karim Morientes ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 56th minute of the match, Karim Morientes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nofre Estany was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Nofre Estany didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karim Morientes went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Yiyo Cianca kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Valhalla F.C. made a substitution. Izel Ronaldo replaced Karim Morientes. In the 64th minute, Yiyo Cianca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Alianza FC booed when Valhalla F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radek Majewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valhalla F.C.'s Vidas Lokas was substituted for Radek Majewski. After a rather tough play, Valhalla F.C.'s Radek Majewski got a free kick in the 69th minute. Benicio Larez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Domingues in the 71st minute of the match. César Domingues took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benicio Larez. Benicio Larez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When Benigno Goya fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alianza FC's protests and gave Benigno Goya a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Izel Ronaldo in the 91st minute of play forced Alianza FC's goalkeeper Nofre Estany to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Izel Ronaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valhalla F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Izel Ronaldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nofre Estany breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Valhalla F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
