Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Camilo Galeas took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd match minute, Club Deportivo Águila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Viscarra to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Salvadore Maldini managed to get in a good position for a shot. U21 El Salvador's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvadore Maldini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Peña breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, U21 El Salvador's Salvadore Maldini got a free kick in the 6th minute. Angel Hurtado's late challenge caught a Club Deportivo Águila's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angel Hurtado helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Club Deportivo Águila booed when U21 El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Hurtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Deportivo Águila's goalkeeper Ricardo Peña, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ricardo Peña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Carranza in the 16th minute of the match. Ricardo Peña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Pineda in the 18th minute of play. Ricardo Peña came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 El Salvador's Alberto Pineda. But to his dismay, Alberto Pineda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Alberto Pineda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 23rd minute of the match Angel Hurtado completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Angel Hurtado a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 24 played minutes U21 El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Angel Hurtado. A collision led to U21 El Salvador getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Angel Hurtado hit a great ball. If Alberto Pineda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fidel Uranga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Collado having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Alberto Pineda notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Club Deportivo Águila's Ricardo Peña. Ricardo Peña was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fidel Uranga charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fidel Uranga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th match minute, Club Deportivo Águila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Uranga to maneuver through the defense. In the 37thth minute of the game Leopoldo Carranza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Deportivo Águila's Ricardo Peña was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The U21 El Salvador fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when U21 El Salvador's Alberto Pineda looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 48th minute, Efren Díaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leopoldo Carranza to strike the kick off in the second half. Alberto Pineda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Collado having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Águila's goalkeeper Ricardo Peña had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Pineda. After 55 minutes Club Deportivo Águila's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Salvadore Maldini who took care of the corner kick. In the 58th minute, U21 El Salvador's Leopoldo Carranza dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. After a rather tough play, U21 El Salvador's Efren Díaz got a free kick in the 64th minute. Ricardo Peña came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 El Salvador's Jorge Leiva. But to his dismay, Jorge Leiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Ricardo Peña made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Alberto Pineda sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of U21 El Salvador booed when Club Deportivo Águila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Pineda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Leiva kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Henry Quintanilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the match, Alberto Pineda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Peña. Club Deportivo Águila's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Pineda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Club Deportivo Águila's Ricardo Peña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Leiva in the 85th minute of play. U21 El Salvador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Salvadore Maldini in the 87th minute. The corner ended in Salvadore Maldini almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Deportivo Águila's Ricardo Peña did a great save. Jorge Leiva charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Leiva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jorge Leiva kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. If Jorge Leiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Club Deportivo Águila's Ricardo Peña got control of the ball when Alberto Pineda tried to sneak it across the goal line. U21 El Salvador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
