When Bart Theobold came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Ice London fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bart Theobold couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Escurra's goalkeeper Hilario Marcha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ice London's Harry Lane got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bobby York showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noe Belmonte in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bánk Madaras in the 14th minute of play forced Escurra's goalkeeper Hilario Marcha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bobby York showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noe Belmonte, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Fidel Beyso could shoot a difficult shot in the 17th minute, which Bobby York however easily saved by the left post. Hilario Marcha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harry Lane in the 18th minute of play. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Bánk Madaras sped through Escurra's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hilario Marcha. 21 minutes into the game, Ice London's Harry Lane nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hilario Marcha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Alan Rusk hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After 25 played minutes, Escurra's Armando Vilaplana shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bobby York came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. After 40 played minutes Escurra got a freekick which was hit by Lizardi Blea. 43 minutes into the match, Ice London's goalkeeper Bobby York had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lizardi Blea. Harry Lane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Hilario Marcha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Ice London's Bart Theobold nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bánk Madaras made a kick off. Bart Theobold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Marcha having to interfere. Bobby York showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Vilaplana in the 53rd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Ice London's Hilario Marcha threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bart Theobold, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Fidel Beyso hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. If Bart Theobold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Escurra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hilario Marcha should have stopped the shot. Harry Lane scored 0-6 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hilario Marcha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
