Marko Siöman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Henrique Jacinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th match minute, Hisingen IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Erik Blomberg to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Marko Siöman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hisingen IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Marko Siöman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrique Jacinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Viktor Nyman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Henrique Jacinto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Einar Jernberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Luís Correia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einar Jernberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hisingen IK's Einar Jernberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heitor Gonçalves in the 32nd minute of play. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 33rd minute, but Henrique Jacinto got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Thurnscoe hanging dry this time. After a defensive mix-up in Thurnscoe's zone, Bernt Vennerkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrique Jacinto came out of the goal and Bernt Vennerkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, Thurnscoe's goalkeeper Henrique Jacinto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernt Vennerkvist. In the 41st match minute, Thurnscoe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Correia to maneuver through the defense. Henrique Jacinto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viktor Nyman in the 42nd minute. Henrique Jacinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Nyman, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 47th minute, Bernt Vennerkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrique Jacinto was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emirares Ganete stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Einar Jernberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Heitor Gonçalves got free with Einar Jernberg in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 64 minutes into the match, Hisingen IK's goalkeeper Einar Jernberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Correia. Henrique Jacinto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viktor Nyman's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viktor Nyman in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrique Jacinto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Henrique Jacinto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viktor Nyman's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Tiago Novais hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After having played for 82 minutes, Bernt Vennerkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hisingen IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernt Vennerkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tiago Novais could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Einar Jernberg made a huge save. 89 minutes into the match, Thurnscoe's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Nyman came free, but Henrique Jacinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute of the match Hisingen IK got a corner. Thurnscoe's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. William Gunnarsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. William Gunnarsson made a great header on Hisingen IK's corner, it was just that Thurnscoe's Henrique Jacinto managed to reach the ball for a save. If Bernt Vennerkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Viktor Nyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thurnscoe's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
