Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Templars FC's Márk Kovács started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Bonifacio Turri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 5th minute Marcos Berasko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boleslaw Zielinski in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes in the game Severo Basualdo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Marcos Berasko. Luisito Quinten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Márk Kovács in the 27th minute of play. André Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boleslaw Zielinski in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to Lyons getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Severo Basualdo hit a great ball. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lyons's goalkeeper Luisito Quinten, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 37 minutes into the game, Severo Basualdo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Templars FC's Jack Nicholson quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Márk Kovács's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luisito Quinten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Boleslaw Zielinski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Márk Kovács could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Luisito Quinten made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Boleslaw Zielinski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but André Courtois was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. 70 minutes into the match, Lyons's Ruperto Salvadore sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that André Courtois narrowly saved just below the crossbar. André Courtois came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Lyons's Boleslaw Zielinski. But to his dismay, Boleslaw Zielinski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Lyons made a substitution. Aurelio Vasco replaced Mario Chago. After some careless play in the Templars FC defense, Dariusz Roano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of André Courtois. The Templars FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André Courtois should have stopped the shot. Lyons's Luisito Quinten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedict Cumberbatch in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Sammut in the 88th minute of play forced Lyons's goalkeeper Luisito Quinten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisito Quinten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedict Cumberbatch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Berasko's late challenge caught a Templars FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcos Berasko helped the player get up and apologised. Marcos Berasko hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Luisito Quinten was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Adelino Marques. Lyons's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
