An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilie Surugiu in the 4th minute of play forced Real Ayuntamiento CF's goalkeeper Ritchie Stansfield to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabio Abalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Cucao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 14th minute by Feliberto Distiratsu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Damazy Tomaszewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Abalos having to interfere. Ritchie Stansfield made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilie Surugiu in the 19th minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Blažej Blazejowski to strike the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the match, ionion's goal looked a bit too open when Blažej Blazejowski came free, but Fabio Abalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Real Ayuntamiento CF fans cheered their team off the field, for while ionion had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
