An unexpected shot in the 19th minute by Ubaldo Mannhardt got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Thanks to some nice moves Ubaldo Mannhardt could shoot a difficult shot in the 23rd minute, which Erik Quintal however easily saved by the left post. In the 26th minute, Vicens Espina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The union española s.a. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodrigo Ruiz got free with Erik Quintal in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stig Malmgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 34 minutes into the match, Stig Malmgren notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Anderbye FC's Erik Quintal. Erik Quintal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anderbye FC's Erik Quintal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Ruiz in the 41st minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, union española s.a.'s Vicens Espina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erik Quintal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diogo Sampaio was the one to do the kick off. union española s.a.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aristeo Potts in the 53rd minute. Cecilio Magalhaes kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Erik Quintal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicens Espina, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Vicens Espina managed to get in a good position for a shot. union española s.a.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Vicens Espina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erik Quintal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erik Quintal came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by union española s.a.'s Rodrigo Ruiz. But to his dismay, Rodrigo Ruiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 73rd match minute, union española s.a. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Ruiz to maneuver through the defense. After 76 played minutes Anderbye FC got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Maranhense. Erik Quintal came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by union española s.a.'s Rodrigo Ruiz. But to his dismay, Rodrigo Ruiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 83rdth minute of the game Ubaldo Mannhardt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anderbye FC's Erik Quintal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anderbye FC's Erik Quintal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Malmgren in the 86th minute of play. Erik Quintal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig Malmgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Anderbye FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aristeo Potts was slow to take the kick. During this time union española s.a.'s players had a chance to rest. When the referee ended the match the union española s.a. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
