In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Australian Youth Academy's goalkeeper Keylor Navas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Garth Brough got free with Vintilă Murgu in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Garth Brough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 22nd minute of the match, Garth Brough tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vintilă Murgu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The Huns's Vintilă Murgu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save The Huns from getting a goal against them. The corner ended in Ellis Hoskin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but The Huns's Vintilă Murgu did a great save.
