Arne Rusterholz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Matro, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Angel Xabel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateusz Sakowicz in the 20th minute of the match. After 26 minutes of play, Re Loco's Mateusz Sakowicz made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angel Xabel was left in no man's land by his defense there! 30 minutes into the match, Re Loco's goal looked a bit too open when Lukas Lundgren came free, but Arne Rusterholz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. POSSE 1911 FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Modesto Bernat in the 31st minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

With a little luck, Re Loco's Arne Rusterholz got control of the ball when Sérgio Aguero tried to sneak it across the goal line.
