The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Paulo Linhares got free with Marcus Vase in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th minute, São Paulo da Floresta's Paulo José Lucas seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Paulo José Lucas the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of São Paulo da Floresta protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Paulo José Lucas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in São Paulo da Floresta fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! São Paulo da Floresta:s Teodoro Jacinto showed great skill when he stopped Agne Björk:s penalty. After 13 played minutes Sundens BK got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Netto. Luís Paulo Linhares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Marcus Vase made a huge save. If Luís Paulo Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luís Paulo Linhares who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Marcus Vase when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Luís Paulo Linhares did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Marcus Vase 19 minutes into the match. Teodoro Jacinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Börje Törnblom in the 25th minute of play. After 27 minutes, Sven-Arne Ahlfors mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sundens BK and the São Paulo da Floresta players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sven-Arne Ahlfors kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Börje Törnblom in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodoro Jacinto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teodoro Jacinto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Börje Törnblom's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. If Per Eliasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, São Paulo da Floresta's goal looked a bit too open when Börje Törnblom came free, but Teodoro Jacinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teodoro Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Börje Törnblom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 minutes of play, Sundens BK's Börje Törnblom made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodoro Jacinto was left in no man's land by his defense there! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Börje Törnblom stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, São Paulo da Floresta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Campidelis to maneuver through the defense. Sundens BK's Marcus Vase played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Paulo Linhares in the 57th minute of play. Alfred Andersson kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Börje Törnblom in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodoro Jacinto saved São Paulo da Floresta from getting behind. Sven-Arne Ahlfors kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. São Paulo da Floresta's Xande Cachorro was substituted for Luís Paulo Linhares. In the 74th minute, Sven-Arne Ahlfors hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Sundens BK booed when São Paulo da Floresta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bem Bom didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Bem Bom fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored São Paulo da Floresta's protests and gave Bem Bom a yellow card for diving instead. The audience held their breath when Alfred Andersson in the 79th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Teodoro Jacinto's left hand side. In the 80th match minute, Sundens BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Andersson to maneuver through the defense. Marcus Vase stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tony Campidelis's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. São Paulo da Floresta's Teodoro Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börje Törnblom in the 89th minute of play. When the match had been going on for 92 minutes Epifanio Cebrian shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Marcus Vase when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar.
