Mariusz Zalipski made in the 18th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Tobias Abechuco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Frederik in the 32nd minute of play forced Golden Lions FC's goalkeeper Anders Lundqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo Steven came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Michael Krawczyk could save by the left post. Golden Lions FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bebben Johansson in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute, Loco Durazno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michael Krawczyk was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Goral Zywiec's goalkeeper Michael Krawczyk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

53 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Grzegorz Jajecznica came free, but Anders Lundqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
