After 9 minutes, Matej Adamec made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Mainumby's Guaberto Cucao tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matej Adamec's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guaberto Cucao read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. After 89th play minutes Matej Adamec shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Guaberto Cucao and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 96th minute Francisco Dominic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ján Tuleja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Melon's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
