In the 12th minute Fernando Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstanty Wawro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Nistor Sârban notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FC ICEWIND DALE's Kuno Lüdimõis. Kuno Lüdimõis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Elpidio Umbruso took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Kuno Lüdimõis to make any attempt to save it. Nistor Sârban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Kuno Lüdimõis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC ICEWIND DALE's Charlie Sjögren quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ryan Gravenhorst, made in the 27th minute of the game. Kuno Lüdimõis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nistor Sârban showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 33 minute of play. In the 41st minute, Leonello Messias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game was made by Ryan Gravenhorst with Nistor Sârban as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 47th minute of the game Charlie Sjögren made a throw-in which Fernando Marinho played forward. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernando Marinho made a kick off. Rega Merida CF's Cemal Palabıyık got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Fernando Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Marinho got free with Konstanty Wawro in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Fernando Marinho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Konstanty Wawro. That made the score 3-1 in the 71 minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC ICEWIND DALE players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rega Merida CF.
