The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Independiente's goalkeeper Pepe Santoro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aresti Pareja. 10 minutes into the match, Titofam pro Team's goal looked a bit too open when Sören Bengtsson came free, but Arlo Barroso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Independiente's Øssur í Lon Jacobsen got a free kick in the 11th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Titofam pro Team's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Beltran came free, but Arlo Barroso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute of the match Titofam pro Team got a corner. Independiente's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cugat Montaña ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 34th minute Independiente were awarded a corner. Reynaldo Abadia went to the cornerflag to take it. Independiente's Reynaldo Abadia was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arlo Barroso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Sören Bengtsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sören Bengtsson in the 40th minute of play forced Titofam pro Team's goalkeeper Arlo Barroso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pepe Santoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvino Cuadrado in the 44th minute of the match. Arlo Barroso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorg Pieters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Titofam pro Team fans cheered their team off the field, for while Independiente had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
