He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Independiente reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Bertol in the 11th minute of play forced Titofam pro Team's goalkeeper Arlo Barroso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Isidoro Beltran kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arlo Barroso. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. When Cugat Montaña came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Titofam pro Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cugat Montaña couldn't finish the play. Arlo Barroso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sören Bengtsson in the 91st minute of play. Pepe Santoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joan Saavedra in the 94th minute of the match. After 95 played minutes Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Sören Bengtsson. Independiente's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
