After 5 minutes Cetatea Suceava's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sabin Crușeveanu who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Sabin Crușeveanu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Claudiu Hațegan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Emanuel Tiberiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudiu Hațegan having to interfere. Claudiu Hațegan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Tiberiu in the 8th minute of the match. Claudiu Hațegan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gică Melinte went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Eusebiu Şimonca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 21 minutes, Sabin Soneriu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Delphine Stars and the Cetatea Suceava players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Delphine Stars getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Sabin Soneriu hit a great ball. In the 26th minute Emanuel Tiberiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudiu Hațegan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cetatea Suceava's Claudiu Hațegan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Tiberiu in the 27th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Gică Melinte put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Claudiu Hațegan. Claudiu Hațegan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Tiberiu in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gică Melinte in the 42nd minute of play forced Cetatea Suceava's goalkeeper Claudiu Hațegan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudiu Hațegan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Tiberiu in the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th match minute, Cetatea Suceava was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dacian Stârcea to maneuver through the defense. Claudiu Hațegan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Tiberiu in the 48th minute of play.

Aurelian Ţăranu kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cetatea Suceava's Petru Geamănu got a free kick in the 56th minute. Claudiu Hațegan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Tiberiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Delphine Stars's Sabin Soneriu got his second yellow card of the match in the 60th minute. The referee ordered Sabin Soneriu off the ground. In the 61st minute, Sabin Soneriu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th match minute, Delphine Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelian Ţăranu to maneuver through the defense. Delphine Stars's Emanuel Tiberiu got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cetatea Suceava's Albion Rahmani was substituted for Eusebiu Şimonca. Cetatea Suceava's Claudiu Hațegan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugen Codin in the 70th minute of play. Gică Melintes short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Claudiu Hațegan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Cetatea Suceava's zone, Eugen Codin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudiu Hațegan came out of the goal and Eugen Codin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claudiu Hațegan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gică Melinte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petruț Ţopescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albion Rahmani in the 88th minute of the match. A collision led to Delphine Stars getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Emanuel Tiberiu hit a great ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Emanuel Tiberiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Delphine Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Tiberiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Delphine Stars's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
