The referee ignored Las Palmas's protests and gave Ruben Peruxu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd minute, Ruben Peruxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Cordarell Saura managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Pfullendorf's supporters rose to their feet, but Cordarell Saura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evelio Naike breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
