In the 15th minute, Markham FC's Hank Blackburn dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Bektaş Veli Tokuz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Czornomaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Quirce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isto Holttinen, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. When %teams%'s Isto Holttinen was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 2-0 just inside the left pole, 25 minutes into the game. Luis Quirce was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. After a rather tough play, CACYFA's Romeo Sanduru got a free kick in the 28th minute. CACYFA's Luis Quirce proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save CACYFA from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute, Atilano Jerico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isto Holttinen in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luis Quirce, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bektaş Veli Tokuz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Jorrin, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. A hard shot 44 in the game by Isto Holttinen from a close distance when the talented Luis Quirce managed to make a qualified save. CACYFA's players were relieved. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Isto Holttinen made the kick off in the second half. Luis Quirce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isto Holttinen in the 51st minute of play. In the 56th minute, Romeo Sanduru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bektaş Veli Tokuz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Czornomaz in the 59th minute of the match. The Markham FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 69th minute Isto Holttinen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Quirce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Adolfo Jorrin notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Markham FC's Bektaş Veli Tokuz. Bektaş Veli Tokuz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. CACYFA's Angelino Chico was substituted for Adolfo Jorrin. CACYFA's Gaspar Dunixi was substituted for Safet Jovanović. Luis Quirce stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isto Holttinen's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Markham FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Terrell Zuniga in the 83rd minute. The corner led to Markham FC's Wesley Driscoll getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 85thth minute of the game Isto Holttinen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CACYFA's Luis Quirce was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 86th minute of the match Markham FC got a corner. CACYFA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Terrell Zuniga ran over to the corner to take the kick. Markham FC's Isto Holttinen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Luis Quirce in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Markham FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Terrell Zuniga in the 89th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of CACYFA's goalie and right to Wesley Driscoll. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. CACYFA's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Isto Holttinen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Luis Quirce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Wesley Driscoll managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Markham FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wesley Driscoll was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute of the match, Alfredo Emeterio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bektaş Veli Tokuz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. For all the effort they put into the match, the CACYFA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Markham FC.
