Joaquim Paredes ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquim Paredes got free with Jacinto Navarro in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jacinto Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Påk in the 9th minute of the match. Tetes Titans's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Joaquim Paredes scored to the left of an out of position Jacinto Navarro, making the score, 2-0. Matthias Eggers made in the 19th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Victor Rito immediately put the ball in play. Tony Påk hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the game, Matthias Eggers threw the ball into play from the sideline. Gremio Viana's Higino Queirós quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a defensive mix-up in Tetes Titans's zone, Joaquim Paredes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Navarro came out of the goal and Joaquim Paredes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Matthias Eggers fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tetes Titans's protests and gave Matthias Eggers a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Tetes Titans's goalkeeper Jacinto Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Stasio Tokarczyk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuel Fiúza was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joaquim Paredes to strike the kick off in the second half. If Victor Rito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Luna ran back to his position shaking his head. Tetes Titans's Jacinto Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Luna in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute Carlos Luna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matthias Eggers kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Gremio Viana made a substitution. Edson Leme replaced Severino Torcato. Gremio Viana's Amado Melo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Matthias Eggers, made in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 84th minute Carlos Luna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacinto Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Luna in the 87th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Luna in the 89th minute of play forced Tetes Titans's goalkeeper Jacinto Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tetes Titans's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Gremio Viana had won, even though Tetes Titans had held more of the ball.
