In the 12th minute, Behram Dafi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Conrado Romero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kemal Ungur. mahşer's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Conrado Romero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evren Şen during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, mahşer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evren Şen to maneuver through the defense. When Stanislaw Rekowski came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Gençlerbirliği fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stanislaw Rekowski couldn't finish the play. 26 minutes into the game, Gençlerbirliği's Conrado Romero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kemal Ungur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 32nd minute, Constantijn Airpoel made a precise shot to the right of Kemal Ungur. mahşer's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After some careless play in the mahşer defense, Constantijn Airpoel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kemal Ungur. The mahşer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kemal Ungur should have stopped the shot. After 41st play minutes Kristen Michálek shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Kemal Ungur and just under the crossbar into goal. After the first half Gençlerbirliği were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Constantijn Airpoel was the one to do the kick off. After 56 minutes, Constantijn Airpoel made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. mahşer's Kemal Ungur tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Constantijn Airpoel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kemal Ungur. That made the score 0-9 in the 63 minute of play. After 68 played minutes mahşer got a freekick which was hit by Evren Şen. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Conrado Romero took a quick shot and it went in 0-10 without a chance for Kemal Ungur to make any attempt to save it. Kemal Ungur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Muharrem Sebih in the 78th minute. Kemal Ungur didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 80th minute, which inside left pole to 0-11. Kemal Ungur came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Gençlerbirliği's Conrado Romero. But to his dismay, Conrado Romero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Constantijn Airpoel put it in 0-13 from a short distance just to the right of Kemal Ungur. After having played for 92 minutes, Conrado Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gençlerbirliği's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrado Romero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Constantijn Airpoel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Kemal Ungur made a huge save.
