Zielonka Gdansk's Jan Tomaszewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fryderyk Motowski in the 8th minute of play. In the 8th minute Fryderyk Motowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Tomaszewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Tomaszewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fryderyk Motowski in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Robert Augustyniak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Robert Augustyniak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Zenon Niezywy made a huge save. With a little luck, FC Kraków1983's Zenon Niezywy got control of the ball when Sebastian Pyrzyce tried to sneak it across the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Zielonka Gdansk's goal looked a bit too open when Fryderyk Motowski came free, but Jan Tomaszewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zenon Niezywy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Pyrzyce in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Olgierd Osowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. The referee felt a red card was in order, 81 minutes into the game, when Mariusz Flis put in a rough tackle. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Zielonka Gdansk! Jan Tomaszewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fryderyk Motowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 97th minute, Radomil Mentis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jan Tomaszewski. The goal made the score 0-1. The FC Kraków1983 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
