Zé Paulo da Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Kenn Kuberg made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anti Kodu in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rune Jarstein saved Hertha 1969 from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Anti Kodu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rune Jarstein was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anti Kodu in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Rune Jarstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan-Benjamin Hula in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's goal looked a bit too open when Anti Kodu came free, but Rune Jarstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's Gigel Elenescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kenn Kuberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moritz Hasenjäger in the 46th minute of play forced Skellerup FC's goalkeeper Kenn Kuberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Skellerup FC's Thorkil Saltum was substituted for Oluf Lebro. Rune Jarstein was a little too slow when Stefan-Benjamin Hula got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 1-2. After a rather tough play, Hertha 1969's Emilio Melzer got a free kick in the 91st minute. 97 minutes into the match, Gigel Elenescu notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Skellerup FC's Kenn Kuberg. Kenn Kuberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
