Cosme Mateus kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Sagene IF's Wang Zhen Tian got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Glyn Wedlock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raido Pulver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sagene IF's Glyn Wedlock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raido Pulver in the 9th minute of play. After having played for 13 minutes, Raido Pulver managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kings's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raido Pulver was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Glyn Wedlock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raido Pulver in the 15th minute of the match. Haşim Batüralp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Óbolo in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of Sagene IF booed when Kings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosme Mateus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Glyn Wedlock made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raido Pulver in the 24th minute. Kings were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Sagene IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Raido Pulver took the corner. Glyn Wedlock was a little too slow when Raido Pulver got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-0. Haşim Batüralp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torstein Solli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute Ivan Óbolo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haşim Batüralp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Glyn Wedlock didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 37th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. In the 40th minute, Kings's Raido Pulver ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Glyn Wedlock. Glyn Wedlock yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. A sloppy throw-in by Filip Refsland in the 46th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Kings's Sikstas Simanauskas. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Raido Pulver took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Glyn Wedlock. Glyn Wedlock dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Kings's Bob Grammet was substituted for Edgaras Jankauskas. With a little luck, Kings's Haşim Batüralp got control of the ball when Ivan Óbolo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 65 minutes, Raido Pulver managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kings's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raido Pulver was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Raido Pulver had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Glyn Wedlock. Sagene IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raido Pulver was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. 73 minutes in the game Christer Claussen did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Oscar Bergum. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raido Pulver in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Glyn Wedlock prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 79 minutes of play, Kings's Raido Pulver made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Glyn Wedlock was left in no man's land by his defense there! 82 minutes into the game, Raido Pulver cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Glyn Wedlock was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 87 minutes into the game, Christer Claussen threw the ball into play from the sideline. Kings's Bob Grammet quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 89 minutes into the game, Raido Pulver cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Glyn Wedlock was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Victorino Marko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Glyn Wedlock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sagene IF's Christer Claussen got a free kick in the 97th minute. Kings's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
