Natalio Guter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Marcos Ranolfo made a huge save. 14 minutes into the match, AQUILES's goal looked a bit too open when Kraig Fred came free, but Frank Frankfurter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Natalio Guter might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Ranolfo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Natalio Guter ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Estudiantes de América's Marcos Ranolfo got control of the ball when Natalio Guter tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kraig Fred scored 1-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frank Frankfurter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Estudiantes de América defense, Natalio Guter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Ranolfo. The Estudiantes de América fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Ranolfo should have stopped the shot. Frank Frankfurter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kraig Fred, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kraig Fred in the 38th minute of play forced AQUILES's goalkeeper Frank Frankfurter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kraig Fred's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frank Frankfurter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Traian Blăniță in the 61st minute of play forced AQUILES's goalkeeper Frank Frankfurter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natalio Guter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Ranolfo having to make a save. Marcos Ranolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Guter in the 64th minute of the match. In the 71st minute Traian Blăniță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Frankfurter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Natalio Guter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Ranolfo having to make a save. In the 94th minute, Estudiantes de América's Concetto Trasatti ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Frank Frankfurter. Frank Frankfurter yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. Marcos Ranolfo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prospero Fix's shot from short distance in the 97th minute.
