With an extended leg and a bit of luck Femke Bol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 13 minutes into the match, Vista Alegre FC's Robustiano Clementi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Femke Bol narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ronaldo de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Reis in the 14th minute of play. Figueira SC FSCMZ's Femke Bol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Soares in the 16th minute of play. Vista Alegre FC were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Figueira SC FSCMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Igor Souza took the corner. Urtzi Zamorano had several of the Vista Alegre FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 20 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Ronaldo de Moraes as he didn't even see the shot coming. Femke Bol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robustiano Clementi in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Figueira SC FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Igor Souza was slow to take the kick. During this time Vista Alegre FC's players had a chance to rest. Femke Bol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robustiano Clementi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Veloso in the 34th minute of play forced Vista Alegre FC's goalkeeper Ronaldo de Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Figueira SC FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Vista Alegre FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Caetano Tasso took the corner. Thanks to some nice moves Yuri Reis could shoot a difficult shot in the 46th minute, which Ronaldo de Moraes however easily saved by the left post. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Dudu Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Femke Bol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58thth minute of the game Robustiano Clementi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Figueira SC FSCMZ's Femke Bol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vista Alegre FC's Luiz Gustavo Vergílio was substituted for Dudu Magalhães. After 80 minutes, Yuri Reis made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Vista Alegre FC's Ronaldo de Moraes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86th minute Luiz Gustavo Vergílio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Femke Bol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vista Alegre FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luiz Gustavo Vergílio in the 87th minute. When Vista Alegre FC's Robustiano Clementi in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Figueira SC FSCMZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vista Alegre FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
