Carlos Germano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laerte Lucas in the 7th minute. Ronaldo Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César de Souza in the 8th minute of play. With a little luck, Donzela de Ferro FBPA's Carlos Germano got control of the ball when Christian Passos tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 12th match minute, Montevideo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natanael de Godoi to maneuver through the defense. Ronaldo Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Donzela de Ferro FBPA. In the 27th minute, Montevideo's Olavo Matorin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carlos Germano. Carlos Germano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Carlos Germano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olavo Matorin, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Laerte Lucas could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Carlos Germano however easily saved by the left post. In the 35th minute César de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th match minute, Donzela de Ferro FBPA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique de Lima to maneuver through the defense. Christian Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Laerte Lucas made a kick off. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Donzela de Ferro FBPA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Montevideo:s goal. Carlos Germano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laerte Lucas, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 74th match minute, Donzela de Ferro FBPA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique de Lima to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Montevideo booed when Donzela de Ferro FBPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fábio Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Wilson Fernandez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Montevideo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ronaldo Medeiros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Víktor Peres in the 97th minute. When the referee ended the match the Montevideo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
