After 27 minutes, Kong Zheng Fan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villa Mitre and the Mervaleta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 27 played minutes Villa Mitre got a freekick which was hit by Kong Zheng Fan. Virgilio Sotil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Erruki in the 28th minute of the match. Moisés Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Dario Quexal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Virgilio Sotil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kong Zheng Fan was shown his second yellow card after 35 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Leo Nesto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerardo Resto in the 39th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerardo Resto got free with Leo Nesto in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mervaleta FC's Leo Nesto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Mervaleta FC from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Justino Erruki to make the kick off. Justino Erruki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the game, Justino Erruki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 73rd minute, Gerardo Resto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leo Nesto was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The audience was convinced that Gerardo Resto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leo Nesto was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. The supporters of Villa Mitre booed when Mervaleta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Quexal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 80 played minutes Villa Mitre got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Chabier.
