After 41 minutes of play, Granate's Christos Triantafyllou made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Franco Moscatelli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Granate's Donato Lorenz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Granate from getting a goal against them. Gilberto Izel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Donato Lorenz made a huge save. Polat Aranda came free with the goalkeeper in the 47th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Donato Lorenz could save by the left post.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christos Triantafyllou was the one to do the kick off. Luca Messi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Lorenz having to interfere. La Scaloneta's Franco Moscatelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Lekubegi in the 53rd minute of play. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Granate would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
