In the 5th minute, Faro querandi's Igor Pandilovski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elvio Lohitzun. Elvio Lohitzun yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Elvio Lohitzun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Igor Pandilovski went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Faro querandi getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Igor Pandilovski hit a great ball. A collision led to Salinas FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Laureano Henry hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Frasco in the 20th minute of play forced Faro querandi's goalkeeper Roque Gabon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elvio Lohitzun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silverio Calvet's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. 27 minutes into the match, Salinas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Pandilovski came free, but Elvio Lohitzun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Salinas FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Serafin Eufemio was slow to take the kick. During this time Faro querandi's players had a chance to rest. Serafin Eufemio made a great header on Faro querandi's corner, it was just that Salinas FC's Elvio Lohitzun managed to reach the ball for a save. If Silverio Calvet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 37 played minutes Faro querandi got a freekick which was hit by Silverio Calvet. Laureano Henry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Roque Gabon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Pandilovski in the 41st minute of play forced Salinas FC's goalkeeper Elvio Lohitzun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Ambrosio Frasco made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Pandilovski in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elvio Lohitzun saved Salinas FC from getting behind. In the 57th match minute, Salinas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Manni to maneuver through the defense. After 66 played minutes Faro querandi got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Garci. After having played for 67 minutes, Ambrosio Frasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salinas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ambrosio Frasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Salinas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Calvet came free, but Elvio Lohitzun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Faro querandi's Silverio Calvet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elvio Lohitzun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Silverio Calvet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the game, Nemesio Rojelio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Faro querandi's Felipe Vedillo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 81stth minute of the game Igor Pandilovski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salinas FC's Elvio Lohitzun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Salinas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Pandilovski came free, but Elvio Lohitzun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91stth minute of the game Igor Pandilovski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salinas FC's Elvio Lohitzun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Silverio Calvet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvio Lohitzun having to interfere. Sebastian Mingo charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Mingo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the referee ended the match the Faro querandi players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
