Richard-Dean Textex made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Mazinho Mazza sent off a good shot on target. In the 10th minute, Mazinho Mazza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Los Hermanos CIMZ's Wojciech Duda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink in the 12th minute of play. Richard-Dean Textex took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mazinho Mazza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wojciech Duda having to interfere. Nonatos United's Jimmie Vikström quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ernesto Bittencourt, made in the 20th minute of the game. 28 minutes into the game, Mazinho Mazza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Richard-Dean Textex. Mazinho Mazza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Wojciech Duda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelo Cefero's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. 37 minutes in the game, Angelo Cefero dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Nonatos United's Richard-Dean Textex proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Nonatos United from getting a goal against them. Angelo Cefero took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wojciech Duda. Wojciech Duda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mazinho Mazza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
