The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4thth minute of the game Charalambos Vokolos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New York Red Bulls's Eduardo Pereyra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 7th minute, Salih Şahsuvaroğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduardo Pereyra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhang Liang Liang in the 7th minute of the match. Lino Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nazım Taci in the 9th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anton Tăutu during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anton Tăutu hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Lino Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berkan Temel in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, -BZF- Petrolul Berca's goal looked a bit too open when Berkan Temel came free, but Lino Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Charalambos Vokolos got free with Eduardo Pereyra in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19th minute -BZF- Petrolul Berca were awarded a corner. Zhang Liang Liang went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Zhang Liang Liang got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eduardo Pereyra quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Eduardo Pereyra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 罗康延, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Shi Jing Feng notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of New York Red Bulls's Eduardo Pereyra. Eduardo Pereyra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eduardo Pereyra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertinho Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the match, New York Red Bulls's goal looked a bit too open when Albertinho Alagoano came free, but Eduardo Pereyra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in New York Red Bulls's zone, 罗康延 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Pereyra came out of the goal and 罗康延 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the match, New York Red Bulls's goalkeeper Eduardo Pereyra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albertinho Alagoano. Nazım Taci charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nazım Taci the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes New York Red Bulls got a freekick which was hit by Nazım Taci. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Piers Amos's late challenge caught a -BZF- Petrolul Berca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Piers Amos helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in New York Red Bulls fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 51st minute. Penalty! Eduardo Pereyra went to the wrong direction when Zhang Liang Liang was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Eduardo Pereyra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertinho Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Lino Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basarab Panduru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eduardo Pereyra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albertinho Alagoano in the 68th minute of the match. New York Red Bulls's attentive Doru Coman managed to snatch the ball when Zhang Liang Liang made a throw-in in the 85th minute of the game. Berkan Temel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eduardo Pereyra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertinho Alagoano in the 89th minute of play. In the 89th minute Albertinho Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Pereyra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berkan Temel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Lino Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. New York Red Bulls's Eduardo Pereyra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertinho Alagoano in the 96th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the -BZF- Petrolul Berca players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
