Holger Mattsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Gallarde in the 14th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Hummerfiskarna's goalkeeper Holger Mattsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rubinho Novaes. When Hummerfiskarna's Andrea De Toro in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Olayo in the 38th minute of play forced Hala Madrid Iraki FC's goalkeeper Ruben Montez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Holger Mattsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubinho Novaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Hummerfiskarna getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Nils-Åke Lagerberg hit a great ball. Arnaldo Queirós took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruben Montez. Ruben Montez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnaldo Queirós stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. André Kuipers was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 56 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hala Madrid Iraki FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! Hala Madrid Iraki FC:s Ruben Montez showed great skill when he stopped Arnaldo Queirós:s penalty. Hummerfiskarna made a substitution. Bennvar Maradona replaced Rickard Malmström. Ruben Montez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Queirós in the 72nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bennvar Maradona got free with Ruben Montez in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hala Madrid Iraki FC made a substitution. Ciro Di Marzio replaced Marcelo Gallarde. Lennart Hellström made in the 78th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Rubinho Novaes immediately put the ball in play. Ruben Montez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Queirós in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Queirós in the 83rd minute of play forced Hala Madrid Iraki FC's goalkeeper Ruben Montez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnaldo Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 91 minutes into the match, Hala Madrid Iraki FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Queirós came free, but Ruben Montez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Hala Madrid Iraki FC defense, Arnaldo Queirós kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruben Montez. The Hala Madrid Iraki FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruben Montez should have stopped the shot.
