Golden Lions FC's attentive Joschi Hook managed to snatch the ball when Roque Lauro made a throw-in in the 2nd minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Loco Durazno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Walter Wallander was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. In the 11th minute, Golden Lions FC's Loco Durazno ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Walter Wallander. Walter Wallander yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Loco Durazno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Loco Durazno in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walter Wallander saved JKs Talanger from getting behind. 19 minutes into the match, JKs Talanger's goalkeeper Walter Wallander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Loco Durazno. In the 20th minute Christopher Kock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. JKs Talanger's Rafael Veiga got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Walter Wallander made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Loco Durazno sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, JKs Talanger's Roque Lauro got a free kick in the 31st minute. Loco Durazno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Walter Wallander made a huge save. In the 38th minute, Christopher Kock got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40thth minute of the game Loco Durazno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JKs Talanger's Walter Wallander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Golden Lions FC's Loco Durazno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walter Wallander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christopher Kock made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loco Durazno in the 51st minute of play forced JKs Talanger's goalkeeper Walter Wallander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Arne Tönnberg in the 53rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by JKs Talanger's Edgar Davids. The supporters of Golden Lions FC booed when JKs Talanger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Supreme Run didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loco Durazno in the 58th minute of play forced JKs Talanger's goalkeeper Walter Wallander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Rafael Veiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of JKs Talanger booed when Golden Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arne Tönnberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. JKs Talanger's Octavian Basten was substituted for Christopher Kock. JKs Talanger made a substitution. Jan-Åke Pettersson replaced Rasmus Eklund. In the 73rd minute, Arne Tönnberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When JKs Talanger's Octavian Basten in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Golden Lions FC's goalie prevented a goal. Supreme Run kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Golden Lions FC's Cosme Larpe got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anders Lundqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavian Basten in the 81st minute of the match. If Mats Nyström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Walter Wallander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mats Nyström, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Walter Wallander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mats Nyström in the 84th minute of the match. After 89 minutes of play, JKs Talanger's Octavian Basten made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anders Lundqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Walter Wallander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Burç Tokhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, JKs Talanger's goal looked a bit too open when Burç Tokhan came free, but Walter Wallander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
