Team Rocco's Sven-Edvin Mårtensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Özdilek in the 12th minute of play. Sven-Edvin Mårtensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorato Soveral, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 22nd minute, Tomas Sigman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Göran Unesson got free with Fang Xing Ang in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th minute, Joar Bergfeldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the game, Rossoneri XI's Honorato Soveral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sven-Edvin Mårtensson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Rossoneri XI's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Winford McGraw in the 30th minute. The audience was convinced that Mehmet Özdilek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven-Edvin Mårtensson was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. 37 minutes into the match, Mehmet Özdilek notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Team Rocco's Sven-Edvin Mårtensson. Team Rocco's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After the first half Rossoneri XI were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vincent Olofsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Rossoneri XI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Soveral to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, Rossoneri XI's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Malmström came free, but Fang Xing Ang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Winford McGraw during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Winford McGraw kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Fang Xing Ang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Unesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Göran Unesson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fang Xing Ang read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. If Mehmet Özdilek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Joel Lundström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fang Xing Ang. Rossoneri XI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Lundström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After 92 played minutes, Team Rocco's Joar Bergfeldt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fang Xing Ang came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Team Rocco reached it. In the 95thth minute of the game Göran Unesson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rossoneri XI's Fang Xing Ang was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rossoneri XI's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
