The corner led Almaröds FF's Jerry Winström to fire away a dangerous shot which Sten Andreasson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that Fred Isaksson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tytus Wyrzykowski was relentless in the 55th minute of the game.
