The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 8 minutes into the game, Ralles Bollklubb's Ivar Sontman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Azam Sum made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 11th minute, Dragan Numanović got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ivar Sontmans short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Azam Sum to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Brian May sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dragan Numanović's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Azam Sum skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Moodys IF's Kjell-Arne Åberg got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 25 minutes Ralles Bollklubb's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kjell-Arne Åberg who took care of the corner kick. Douglas D Agostino scored 2-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Azam Sum, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boris Browald in the 33rd minute of play forced Ralles Bollklubb's goalkeeper Tata Rușanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Azam Sum stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivar Sontman's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Azam Sum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas D Agostino in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, Ralles Bollklubb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Krum to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute of the match Kjell-Arne Åberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tata Rușanu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Anton Bröms got a throw-in 42 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Dragan Numanović. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Moodys IF getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Brian May hit a great ball. Azam Sum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivar Sontman, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 59th match minute, Moodys IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Johansson to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Moodys IF defense, Ivar Sontman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Azam Sum. The Moodys IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Azam Sum should have stopped the shot. Azam Sum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dragan Numanović in the 63rd minute of play. In the 68th minute, Åke Johansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivar Sontman in the 68th minute of play forced Moodys IF's goalkeeper Azam Sum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moodys IF's Barnabás Selymes got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Azam Sum stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dragan Numanović's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Azam Sum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dragan Numanović in the 84th minute of the match. Ivar Sontman might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Azam Sum. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ivar Sontman ran back to his position shaking his head. Azam Sum didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dragan Numanović went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Ralles Bollklubb made a substitution. Esteban Ezkerra replaced Dragan Numanović. Esteban Ezkerra took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Azam Sum. Azam Sum dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0.
