Paulo Maldini made in the 8th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Penuel Football Club's Felix Varioz. 13 minutes into the game, Penuel Football Club's Lizer Cordal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cãlin Damaschin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Epifanio Gabrio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. 20 minutes into the match, CERRO PORTEÑO's goal looked a bit too open when Lizer Cordal came free, but Cãlin Damaschin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CERRO PORTEÑO's Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Simon Gerbault's late challenge caught a Penuel Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simon Gerbault helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Penuel Football Club booed when CERRO PORTEÑO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Gerbault didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cãlin Damaschin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lizer Cordal went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. CERRO PORTEÑO made a substitution. 王树帆 replaced Edgar Kensicki. With a little luck, Penuel Football Club's Epifanio Gabrio got control of the ball when Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 41st minute Lizer Cordal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cãlin Damaschin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 王树帆 to make the kick off. It was Paulo Maldini who took care of the corner kick. 67 minutes into the match, Lizer Cordal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cãlin Damaschin, 0-3. Lizer Cordal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cãlin Damaschin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. In the 89th match minute, Penuel Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Amato to maneuver through the defense. Moreno Martins took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Epifanio Gabrio. Penuel Football Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cãlin Damaschin came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Penuel Football Club's Chen Shi Ran. But to his dismay, Chen Shi Ran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4.
