With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferdinand Johnson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zé Roberto Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Valencia in the 4th minute of play. Playa Malvín's Stamen Tekeliev got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teddy Tholsted in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Roberto Teixeira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 17 minutes into the match, ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's Teddy Tholsted sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zé Roberto Teixeira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Stamen Tekeliev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Johnson having to interfere. Stamen Tekeliev took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferdinand Johnson. Ferdinand Johnson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 29 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goal looked a bit too open when Teddy Tholsted came free, but Zé Roberto Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladimiro Marquez hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stamen Tekeliev in the 35th minute of play forced ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's goalkeeper Ferdinand Johnson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Stamen Tekeliev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ferdinand Johnson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 46th minute Teddy Tholsted shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Roberto Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Playa Malvín were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teddy Tholsted stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Stamen Tekeliev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Johnson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferdinand Johnson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stamen Tekeliev, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 56 minutes into the game, Fausto Jayaga threw the ball into play from the sideline. ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's Kerem Titiz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 59 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goal looked a bit too open when Teddy Tholsted came free, but Zé Roberto Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stamen Tekeliev struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Ferdinand Johnson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Playa Malvín. Playa Malvín made a substitution. Josu Onez replaced Jabier Igual. A sloppy throw-in by Gamus Rocha in the 70th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's Kerem Titiz. ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's Ferdinand Johnson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niva Espellosa in the 71st minute of play. Gamus Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teddy Tholsted in the 75th minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute Teddy Tholsted shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Roberto Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's goal looked a bit too open when Niva Espellosa came free, but Ferdinand Johnson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's Artal Burualla was substituted for Teddy Tholsted. In the 88th minute of the game Gamus Rocha made a throw-in which Niva Espellosa played forward. ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's Kerem Titiz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gamus Rocha in the 94 minute of the game.
