The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Club Deportivo Águila's zone, Casimiro Sayveon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Guimarães came out of the goal and Casimiro Sayveon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guaparo FC's Ricardo Zamora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Florinio in the 5th minute of play. Manuel Reyes kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Club Deportivo Águila's Gustavo Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Sayveon in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Casimiro Sayveon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustavo Guimarães. Club Deportivo Águila's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Casimiro Sayveon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Casimiro Sayveon scored 0-2 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustavo Guimarães, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Sayveon in the 19th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Águila's goalkeeper Gustavo Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Águila's goal looked a bit too open when Casimiro Sayveon came free, but Gustavo Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guaparo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ricardo Zamora didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dário Diniz went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score.
