Petruț Fințescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Sven de Zwaan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bonifacio Seme was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Rigoberto Nazario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Estebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. A collision led to Fixup Football Club getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Baldomero Chorache hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven de Zwaan in the 23rd minute of play forced Fixup Football Club's goalkeeper Bonifacio Seme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petruț Fințescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Bonifacio Seme when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Argentinos Juniors booed when Fixup Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amancio Derwin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Argentinos Juniors's Petruț Fințescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bonifacio Seme. That made the score 2-0 after 36 minutes of play. Argentinos Juniors's Sven de Zwaan was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 46th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal.

In the 52nd minute Sven de Zwaan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonifacio Seme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Argentinos Juniors's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Celedonio Madeo in the 54th minute. Argentinos Juniors's Celedonio Madeo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bonifacio Seme in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Bonifacio Seme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven de Zwaan's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven de Zwaan in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bonifacio Seme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vicente Tristan got free with Rigoberto Nazario in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 64 minutes, Sven de Zwaan made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Fixup Football Club's Bonifacio Seme tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 70 minutes into the match, Sven de Zwaan notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Fixup Football Club's Bonifacio Seme. Bonifacio Seme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Argentinos Juniors made a substitution. Diego Gonzales replaced Eleuterio Milian. 81 minutes into the match, Argentinos Juniors's goalkeeper Rigoberto Nazario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vicente Tristan. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Petruț Fințescu in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bonifacio Seme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Petruț Fințescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Argentinos Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Just Féraud came free, but Rigoberto Nazario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 played minutes Argentinos Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Trotta. In the 96th minute, Fixup Football Club's Just Féraud ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rigoberto Nazario. Rigoberto Nazario yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-1. Argentinos Juniors's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
