Hendrik-Jan Brugmans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilherme de Souza in the 20th minute of play. Gwidon Juchno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aquiles Papo went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Gwidon Juchno made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Aquiles Papo sent off a good shot on target. Gwidon Juchno was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aquiles Papo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 26 minute of play. Guilherme de Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Hendrik-Jan Brugmans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florão da América's Tostão Medeiros quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Caetano Eger, made in the 36th minute of the game. Guilherme de Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gwidon Juchno was a little too slow when Gabirel Jesus got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 3-1. In the 46th match minute, AÇAÍ SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gorka Jordo to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabirel Jesus to make the kick off. Florão da América's Tostão Medeiros quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Caetano Eger, made in the 50th minute of the game. After 51 minutes of play, Florão da América's Guilherme de Souza made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hendrik-Jan Brugmans was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, AÇAÍ SA's Hendrik-Jan Brugmans got control of the ball when Mandi Bulín tried to sneak it across the goal line. AÇAÍ SA's Hendrik-Jan Brugmans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guilherme de Souza in the 58th minute of play. Gwidon Juchno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabirel Jesus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the game, Gabirel Jesus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Gwidon Juchno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. AÇAÍ SA's Hendrik-Jan Brugmans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save AÇAÍ SA from getting a goal against them. 77 minutes into the game, AÇAÍ SA's Gabirel Jesus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gwidon Juchno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guilherme de Souza got free with Hendrik-Jan Brugmans in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gwidon Juchno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabirel Jesus in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute AÇAÍ SA were awarded a corner. Dino Siqueira went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to AÇAÍ SA's Aquiles Papo getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 88 minutes into the match, AÇAÍ SA's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamed Mané came free, but Hendrik-Jan Brugmans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guilherme de Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hendrik-Jan Brugmans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. In the 92ndth minute of the game Dragolyub Chavdarov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AÇAÍ SA's Hendrik-Jan Brugmans was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
