Dorian Machado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bengt Bouchard in the 18th minute. FÊNIX F.C.'s Marquinhos Teixeira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dorian Machado in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 21st match minute, FÊNIX F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcinho Arce to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 26 minutes, Precioso Barcaiztegui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Locomotiva grena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Precioso Barcaiztegui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damian Fetor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Precioso Barcaiztegui in the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Precioso Barcaiztegui left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Locomotiva grena fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 34 minutes of play, FÊNIX F.C.'s Kauã Moreno made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dorian Machado was left in no man's land by his defense there! The long shot by Marquinhos Teixeira in the 39th minute really tested Dorian Machado's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a rather tough play, FÊNIX F.C.'s João Carlos Medeiros got a free kick in the 44th minute. João Carlos Medeiros hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Precioso Barcaiztegui to make the kick off. João Paulo Prata hit a great ball. In the 86th minute Precioso Barcaiztegui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Fetor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 played minutes FÊNIX F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Marcinho Arce. Tiaguinho Eger kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. If Bengt Bouchard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
