Isaltino Pirani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramón Neto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Magno Cabral hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, Irreal Madrid's Adhemar Valadares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ramón Neto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ramón Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaltino Pirani, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 29 played minutes Irreal Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Isaltino Pirani. Noel Braga made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Doriva Jacinto sent off a good shot on target. After 38 played minutes Irreal Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Rachid Dib. If Doriva Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 42 played minutes Irreal Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Vernon Kinney. BRASIL.Sp's Nestor Gonzáles was substituted for Celsinho Mendonça. In the 45th minute of the match Caetano da Silva sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Noel Braga skillfully saved the ball. Noel Braga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doriva Jacinto in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isaltino Pirani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, BRASIL.Sp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano da Silva to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Irreal Madrid booed when BRASIL.Sp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bono Vox didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramón Neto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Irreal Madrid's Noel Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiliam Goiano in the 88th minute of play. Noel Braga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiliam Goiano in the 90th minute of the match. Ramón Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Secco in the 92nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Afonsinho Mattos got free with Ramón Neto in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Irreal Madrid players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented BRASIL.Sp from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
