Elivélton Abraão hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the match, America FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Tola came free, but Gildo Furtado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Elivélton Abraão in the 12th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Milanis E.C.'s Zheng Ting Di. In the 13th minute, Milanis E.C.'s Zé Tola ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gildo Furtado. Gildo Furtado yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Zé Tola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gildo Furtado having to interfere. Frederico de Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuri Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute Maicon Arruda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederico de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Zé Tola took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Gildo Furtado to make any attempt to save it. Milanis E.C.'s Frederico de Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Lopez in the 25th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Yuri Lopez made a precise shot to the right of Frederico de Queirós. Milanis E.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 34th minute Jonas Dracena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederico de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Elivélton Abraão threw the ball into play from the sideline. Milanis E.C.'s Zheng Ting Di quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, Milanis E.C.'s Mustafa Ali Ünlüsoy got a free kick in the 37th minute. America FC's Gildo Furtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Tola in the 40th minute of play. Frederico de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Dracena in the 41st minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Elivélton Abraão threw the ball into play from the sideline. Milanis E.C.'s Zheng Ting Di quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 46th minute, Yuri Lopez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frederico de Queirós was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
After some careless play in the America FC defense, Zé Tola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gildo Furtado. The America FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gildo Furtado should have stopped the shot. Elivélton Abraão made in the 54th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Milanis E.C.'s Zheng Ting Di. Zé Tola hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Gildo Furtado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zé Tola's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Milanis E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Arí Silva came free, but Frederico de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. America FC's Gildo Furtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurgain Ruiz in the 62nd minute of play. Frederico de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Dracena in the 63rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, America FC's Norberto Jacinto got a free kick in the 64th minute. Zé Tola took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gildo Furtado. America FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 66 minutes, Yuri Lopez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the America FC and the Milanis E.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Milanis E.C. booed when America FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuri Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in America FC's zone, João Vítor Leão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gildo Furtado came out of the goal and João Vítor Leão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gildo Furtado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Tola in the 69th minute of play. Gildo Furtado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zé Tola's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the game, Mustafa Ali Ünlüsoy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Milanis E.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave America FC the free kick. The supporters of America FC booed when Milanis E.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Ali Ünlüsoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in America FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! In the last second Frederico de Queirós throw himself and got hold of the ball when Jonas Dracena in the 80thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 81st minute America FC were awarded a corner. Jonas Dracena went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Arí Silva got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Frederico de Queirós quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the last second Frederico de Queirós throw himself and got hold of the ball when Arí Silva in the 81stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maicon Arruda got free with Frederico de Queirós in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frederico de Queirós came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by America FC's Jonas Dracena. But to his dismay, Jonas Dracena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurgain Ruiz in the 90th minute of play forced America FC's goalkeeper Gildo Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of America FC booed when Milanis E.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fahl Gattuso didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Milanis E.C. players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
