Ostadar Suarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cruz Izaran in the 2nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Joestar in the 4th minute of play forced Vicente Leon's goalkeeper Marian Laba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marian Laba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gonzales Alsedar's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Marian Laba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rai Dorrial, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 13 minutes, Espiga Aranzabal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vicente Leon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Espiga Aranzabal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute Rai Dorrial shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Laba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Xosepe Celis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marian Laba quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rai Dorrial in the 26th minute of play forced Vicente Leon's goalkeeper Marian Laba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th match minute, Real Zipa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xosepe Celis to maneuver through the defense. If Sandro Urquiza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marian Laba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquin Joestar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cruz Izaran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ostadar Suarez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Pedro Gatnau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ostadar Suarez having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rai Dorrial was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Cruz Izaran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vicente Leon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cruz Izaran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Zipa FC's goalkeeper Ostadar Suarez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rai Dorrial in the 57th minute of play forced Vicente Leon's goalkeeper Marian Laba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonzales Alsedar charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gonzales Alsedar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th match minute, Real Zipa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzales Alsedar to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, Vicente Leon's goalkeeper Marian Laba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rai Dorrial. If Ysmael Raigadas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, Rai Dorrial dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marian Laba, 0-2. Sandro Urquiza's late challenge caught a Real Zipa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandro Urquiza helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Vicente Leon getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Sandro Urquiza hit a great ball. Sandro Urquiza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ostadar Suarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xosepe Celis hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Cruz Izaran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ostadar Suarez having to interfere. Marian Laba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rai Dorrial in the 87th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Vicente Leon's Sandro Urquiza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ostadar Suarez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Real Zipa FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
