In the 14th minute of the match Tricolor got a corner. Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tómas Planet ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Bernardino Gil got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jiang Lei quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Tómas Planet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luis Tancredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jiang Lei having to interfere. Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's Jiang Lei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş from getting a goal against them. After 24 played minutes Tricolor got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Gonzalez. If Ermegildo Unai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 25 minutes into the match, Tricolor's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Unai came free, but Marciano Fagondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardino Gil got free with Jiang Lei in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Tricolor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After a rather tough play, Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's 温博伟 got a free kick in the 33rd minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 叶平卫 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Tricolor's goalkeeper Marciano Fagondo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Hitzeder. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 叶平卫 in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jiang Lei saved Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş from getting behind. In the 91st minute Zacarias Lordi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jiang Lei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee ignored Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's protests and gave Johan-Sebastián Mastropiero a yellow card for diving instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
