In the 5th match minute, Deportivo Mandiyu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustaquio Gilabert to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Mandiyu's zone, Jonathan Balendin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roque Narvaja came out of the goal and Jonathan Balendin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th match minute, Rio Gallegos Unidos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulino Mancio to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Oscar Iyan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roman Iza came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Mandiyu's Zhu Bin Kun. But to his dismay, Zhu Bin Kun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Zhu Bin Kun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roman Iza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Oscar Iyan notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Deportivo Mandiyu's Roque Narvaja. Roque Narvaja was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emilio Nuno made a kick off. Zhu Bin Kun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roman Iza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. The supporters of Deportivo Mandiyu booed when Rio Gallegos Unidos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Mancio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deportivo Mandiyu's Roque Narvaja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Nuno in the 55th minute of play. Deportivo Mandiyu's Pedro Benvido quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Roberto Oxel, made in the 56th minute of the game. Roman Iza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhu Bin Kun in the 61st minute of the match. In the 68th match minute, Rio Gallegos Unidos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Oxel to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Deportivo Mandiyu booed when Rio Gallegos Unidos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Oxel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roman Iza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Petruzzi in the 71st minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Florian Petruzzi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Roman Iza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Deportivo Mandiyu's Roberto Cherro was substituted for Zhu Bin Kun. 77 minutes into the match, Deportivo Mandiyu's Roberto Cherro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roman Iza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Oscar Iyan came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Rio Gallegos Unidos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Iyan couldn't finish the play. 81 minutes into the game, Roberto Cherro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Roman Iza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rio Gallegos Unidos made a substitution. Cesar Belo replaced Paulino Mancio. Cesar Belo's late challenge caught a Deportivo Mandiyu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cesar Belo helped the player get up and apologised. Cesar Belo kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Roman Iza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Cherro, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Roque Narvaja stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Iyan's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Emilio Nuno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Roque Narvaja was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 94 minutes into the match, Deportivo Mandiyu's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Nuno came free, but Roque Narvaja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
