After 9 played minutes El Bobo y El Bocho got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Fraco. Roman Shantala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Astor Tohias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alpachiri AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Angelino Horado ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Alpachiri AFC's goalie and right to Clemente Lorenz. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Alpachiri AFC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 41st minute, Patricio Bartolome ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clemente Oier was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Johnny Ramone fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alpachiri AFC's protests and gave Johnny Ramone a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Alpachiri AFC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Johnny Ramone hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabio Ticho was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Astor Tohias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Roman Shantala was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Patricio Bartolome could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Clemente Oier made a huge save. Ladislao Savier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Clemente Oier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61stth minute of the game Astor Tohias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alpachiri AFC's Roman Shantala was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. El Bobo y El Bocho's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Angelino Horado in the 63rd minute. El Bobo y El Bocho's Angelino Horado was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Roman Shantala in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 67th play minutes Santiago Txilar shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Clemente Oier and just under the crossbar into goal.
