The corner ended in Angelino Horado almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Kepa Arrizabalaga did a great save. 7 minutes into the game, Gustavo-Hernán Egoi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Clemente Oier. Gustavo-Hernán Egoi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustavo-Hernán Egoi in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clemente Oier saved El Bobo y El Bocho from getting behind. If Astor Tohias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 20th minute, Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Gustavo-Hernán Egoi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Gustavo-Hernán Egoi struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Clemente Oier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka. Salvador Berbiz kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Gustavo-Hernán Egoi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Clemente Oier. That made the score 3-0 in the 30 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustavo-Hernán Egoi got free with Clemente Oier in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Gustavo-Hernán Egoi got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Kepa Arrizabalaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Tohias in the 40th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, one of El Bobo y El Bocho:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 49 minutes, Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Aaron Jokin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Clemente Oier. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
