But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Theobald couldn't finish the play. Uriel Rameriz made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Paulo Theobald sent off a good shot on target. Zackary Ericsson struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. István Détári didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Banda Norte. Paulo Theobald's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Uriel Rameriz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cleto Urki got free with István Détári in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd minute Arnulfo Beltran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Rameriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Banda Norte booed when Buenos y Malos Ayres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Jacindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Banda Norte eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
